Prof. PhDr. Pavel Šopák, Ph.D. (1970), pedagogicky působí na Fakultě architektury VUT v Brně, kde vyučuje dějiny architektury a dějiny umění. Zabývá se architekturou Moravy 18.–20. století ve středoevropských souvislostech, a zvláště osobnostmi a tématy zapomenutými nebo opomíjenými. Tak vznikla myšlenka sepsat text o architektu a pedagogovi Miloši Lamlovi, jehož organizační a tvůrčí práce zasáhla Brno i řadu měst a venkovských obcí v různých moravských regionech.

Prof. PhDr. Pavel Šopák, Ph.D. (1970) works pedagogically at the Faculty of Architecture of the BUT in Brno, where he teaches the history of architecture and the history of art. He deals with the architecture of Moravia in the 18th and 20th centuries in the Central European context and especially with forgotten or neglected personalities and topics. This is how the idea arose to write a text about the architect and pedagogue Miloš Laml, whose organizational and creative work affected Brno and a number of towns and rural communities in various Moravian regions.
